Where do I fit in?

Jesus said, “…true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.”  Worship is a celebration and a response of what God has done in and through His Son, Jesus Christ.  God has created you and I to worship.  We do that individually and corporately as we gather as His church.

Bethel believes it is important to come alongside parents to help their youth be rooted in the Bible and know Christ more.  Our 6th through 12th graders gather on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings to dig into the Bible to see God’s truth in this fallen world, and we have some fun doing it.

Jesus said, “let the little children come to me…”   Pre-K to grade 5 kids gather on Sundays to worship with their families and to gather in their own group to grow in their faith.  Our children are invited to come to Sunday school and Children’s church and to participate in other fun events throughout the year.

Bethel’s ladies gather together for worship, fellowship and special events.  This group serves in many different ways.  They bless missionaries with gifts and cards, offer scholarships to our kids for camp, and make blankets for individuals and families to name just a few.

Jesus said,  “Go and make disciples of all nations…”  We exist to glorify God in all we do and to reach out with the love of Jesus.  Our Mission is to lead people to a personal relationship with Jesus, to guide believers to a deeper relationship with Jesus and each other, and to equip people for works of ministry.

We were shaped by God to serve.  To serve Him by serving others.  That may be giving someone a cup of water in Jesus’ name, going on a short-term mission trip, serving a BBQ dinner at the Rescue Mission, filling someone’s tank with gas, or serving at the church or in the community.
